Eating disorders are not often well understood. While there is a wide variety of different eating disorders, an unhealthy relationship with food is the root of these issues. This can manifest itself in eating for comfort or eating to please others; this is when we begin to fall into a trap that can then turn into a never-ending struggle.
Here at MEEDA, we aim to raise awareness of eating disorders and provide support through facilitating talks, workshops, and fundraising activities. We also actively participate in eating disorders research, collaborate with other established eating disorders associations as well running eating disorder support groups free of charge
Help is at the heart of what MEEDA stands for.
